In Slovenian orthography it really says that the word žrd is feminine, but as a child I often helped my father tie hay wagons, straw, and other things with žrdom and not with žrdjo.

What connection does the alpine salamander have with the weather? It is the only amphibian in Slovenia that doesn't need water for survival. For the weather neither Cegnarca nor Pečenko, let alone Velkavrh, know. They hardly guess even for yesterday.
