I was thinking of the Žlebe (Nevejsko sedlo).

Not above the Žlebe in the Western Julian Alps, but, as evident from Šodrovčev's hint, in a range that has something small in common with the little animals on the picture.

Atoamac, if my intuition doesn't deceive me, I'd deduce from what's written - "something small in common" - that you have in mind a somewhat different solution than the one I hinted at with the rebus photo. Probably you connected the little animals with a spatially "related" animal that designates a slightly larger area than on your photo. However, those little animals with some symbol under their heads play the main role, and that carpenter's tool also has an unambiguous meaning...

I could still place Koštruna, but not the shape. Does it have a head?

Based on what's written, on the photo and on the photo-rebus, I'm more or less convinced that they can't possibly be Koštrunove špice

You're right @turbo, they are not Koštrunove špice. @ossi, the picture is not in the Carnic Alps, but in Slovenia. "Something small in common" refers precisely to that symbol under the animal's neck - to šodrovčev's solution. Additional hint: the peaks on the picture are in the "shadow" of a more popular/crowded tower

Not "Mala Košuta" and fortunately still (otherwise traceable and trodden) pathless terrain without buildings or other traces of human enterprise

I won't be online for a while, so the solution: Oblič and Gamsovke in the ridge between Tolsta Košuta and Košutnikov turn, taken under the summit structure of the latter. Merry Christmas everyone, and may your heart flutter in 2013 at every beautiful hike and/or its echo on the forum.
