I have tons of pics from this year's trips, but always forget which I've posted. Which peak is that?

Yes ben. Photographed 13.08.2013 when I did traverse from Dolič via Kanjavec to Temen to Poprovca. Peaks were dry. On Temen I first found this wonderful kamnokreč. From Poprovca I went straight down to start of Hribarice. Photographed from Temena. Whole Hribarice to Dolič almost in snow.

ben continue!

irska you're close. I don't remember well if I posted my three-day tour here. Saw really lots of ibex. This little daredevil didn't even move from the path for me. Somehow last year I didn't notice this window at all. On this path I found new murko-wider murko. Here is also detail from that path.

This window is certainly on the Špičje ridge, because it is one of the few things that I could see on the tour over Veliko and Malo Špičje to the Prehodavci hut due to thick fog nasmeh

The window is really there. You have beautiful Špičje on pic no. 3, if I'm not mistaken. I had wonderful weather on 15.07.2013. Now we are closer to the solution!

To let the eyes rest a bit, I'm posting this from that path across these rocks.

Of course it is. On the first pic before the window. If you went there in fog, you really didn't see it well.

So we don't drag this riddle too long. -this is the summit of Veliko Špičje-2398m. Let someone continue.

Hmmm, I've always thought Lepo Špičje is the name of the entire ridge, of which Veliko Špičje aka Lepa Špica is a part nasmeh

I'm not sure. Different authors name it differently – somewhere the chain of Velikega Špičja is mentioned, the ridge of Velikega Špičja. It's mentioned literally as the highest peak of the Veliko Špičje chain – 2398 m – formerly called Lepa špica – source Tina Mihelič. Trentarji and Bohinjci always called it that, writes Mihelič. Mentions three distinct peaks before the main summit – Zadnja Lopa – 2115 m, according to the Julijske Alpe – Western part map – this should be the peak that I called Lepo Špičje – seems wrong. The path takes us from scree slopes of shiny white rock almost to this summit and just before the summit the path turns left. Second is the peak of Malega Špičja – 2312 m, the path brings us just a few steps below the summit – trentarji call it Loupa. Towards the end of the ridge we descend deeply and then climb to unnamed ridge head – 2320 m, in between another height on the map – 2355 m – and only then the path gradually leads us to the main summit with box and stamp. Farthest right from the Veliki Špič summit is also Male špice summit. Triglav National Park map is even less accurate. Ingrid Pilz calls them "lepe špice" in her book Wonderful World of Julian Alps.

Somehow we're not progressing with this. I like to rush a bit. Which peak is this? I always forward photos from the current year's tours.
