Maybe someone knows what the little house looked like, supposedly Yugoslav guard post, on Vosca, before it became a ruin? Does anyone have a picture or a source for it, maybe PV?

I doubt the army had a guard post right on the border.

Miri I agree, although I'm not very knowledgeable about this, it seems more like from the first war to me, when the border was shifting almost every day, although it seems a bit too far north to me?

Remains from the first war you see furthest north along the path to Jerebikovec, there are still three shelters with original "dahpapo made in AO", made, and also unfinished, in case of Lahov breakthrough over Trento and Luknja, they would stop them between Grančišče above Mojstrana and this part of Mežakla! Hardly visible shelters also on the ridge or pathless to Jerebikovec from the saddle (Parking towards Kota left)! I walked those ends with a friend from TNP, for Vosca I would believe it was some guard post, those were abolished with the calming of the cold war and reduction of "contraband" also on Karavanke above Dovje!!

I hope someone from that area responds and explains what this building actually was, because as miri wrote "Yugoslavia" also didn't build guard posts right on the border but they were usually a bit lower and set back from the border, but I don't know what was done there during WWII?

Guys, I called my ranger friend, he confirmed, knows the situation on Vošca too, those remains were once a JLA guard post, smaller size, locals know that too, abandoned around 1960, 10 years later above Dovje, in Belci it existed until separation!

Thanks cico! I hope we learn more useful stuff like this bit by bit. If it's as the ranger told you, then probably some Slovenian border guard is still alive and maybe has a picture from the army? Maybe some older mountaineer has it. I found a picture of J Čop!
