The church is one of the older ones in this area. First mention dates to around 1157. Interestingly, the church is also mentioned in the medieval folk song «Galjot». It is a typical filial church with rectangular nave and apse, later rebuilt into presbytery. Numerous rebuilds and time have destroyed the interior frescoes. Part of the Three Kings procession is preserved on the north wall. On the outside St. Christopher was painted carrying Christ on his shoulder. Christ held him by the hair with his right hand and blessed him with his left.

Grega, the mentioned chapel is important, but the fresco painting is more important in Breg near Preddvor.
