The path leads through the Lendava hills, but the path has another name. It is named after a writer, politician, and journalist who was born not far from Lendava in 1908 and died in 1983 in Ljubljana. He spent the last years of his life in Senožeti, today the municipality of Dol pri Ljubljani.

I assume the standpoint is somewhere above Staničev dom in the Rž area - perhaps Dovška vratca, since one can recognize (from the right) parts of Begunjski vrh, Razor, Pihavec, Jalovec, Veliki Ozebnik and (probably) Planja. But where is the cairn?

Somewhere between Begunjski vrh and the Eastern Heads, on the path over Prag...

Taken a few meters away from Staničev dom, the cairn is on a small hillock near the hut
