I wonder if anyone has been to Okrešelj after New Year, what's the path to the hut like and if the hut is open on weekends. LP

This morning at Okrešelj. Snow 2.60 m. In lower part frozen above Savinja source about 30 cm powder, lots of avalanches.

This is how the avalanche destroyed the hut

Today I was at Okrešelj nasmeh

my original goal was Turski žleb and then depending on conditions how and what next. But due to hurricane wind I didn't get close to the gully let alone into it eek

Worst part of path to Okrešelj was from bridge over waterfall to Savinja source. That part most exposed to today's wind.
Snow conditions fairly normal, except on part I mentioned, there snowdrifts up to meter high eek

Adding some pics taken in front of hut at Okrešelj, because lower in wind didn't want to remove gloves nasmeh

Tomorrow plan just to Okrešelj and back, interested in conditions and if crampons needed.

Up to Okrešelj it's quite icy, so with crampons you won't miss anything.

Probably dry snow fell, which the wind blew away right away.

Has anyone been to Okrešelj? Tomorrow I plan to go to Okrešelj or maybe to Raduha, where the hut at Loki is even open. I hope the weather will be nice.
