Ugh, that's not nice, thanks for the warning, I just planned a night hike up or down this path today. I usually go from the Spar store up, then a circular tour and descent to Pod skalo inn or pool.

Which path did you take up and down? I still like the circular tour best.
But my path down (to the pool) can be quite unpleasant in mud, as you can slip somewhere.

At least once a week I go to Špica from Vrhpolje, then descend to the road to Stari grad. Then I continue on paths to Lancar, from there descend to the clearing under Tolsta gora and climb to the top of Tolste gore. From there follows yet another descent to Vrhpolje. http://www.hribi.net/slike/smile.gif

The path along the Nevljica river is also interesting. Start at Vir or Srednja vas, then directly along the river to Vrhpolje.

Path to old castle above Kamnik from Vrhpolje
I'm interested if someone knows this path, they say up there
some abyss and I'm interested in the location, for all info thanks in advance.

Path from Vrhpolje to old castle or Tolsto is well trodden. Path past playground to forest or through new settlement.
If past playground after 100m to section with "cliff" on right, probably that's the abyss. There you can go left uphill on marked path to Tolsto gora or along edge of abyss further to old castle.
If through new settlement to old castle come to concrete dam at end of that abyss, over dam to other side and path through grass to forest, in forest come to that part where cyclists on descent turn towards pub under rock to grassy part.
