Hi Primož, excellent reports, crazy athletic family, congratulations. I have just one remark. What do you measure the run with? Phone? Maybe not the best idea. I see that on 2.1.2020 it calculated 16km for you and average time 4:17 min/km, which is close to world record for that distance with 350m elevation... That means you ran under 3 min/km descending to Ankaran, incredibly fast. Recommend serious GPS watch to measure distance accurately and elevation better. Tinjan is only 360m high, impossible to gain 413m on this route...

Hi Primož, haven't done or run this route yet to compare results. Still think these apps are quite inaccurate. Free version (AlpineQuest GPS Hiking Lite) doesn't support GPS tracking, uses only mobile (4G) data. If it does, relies on phone's satellite receiver, less accurate by default than dedicated devices. So 12.5km doesn't seem real. Maybe compare Osp - Tinjan (village, not peak), many hikers measured 2.7km. If your phone shows 3km, that's a big error that adds up to "1km" mistake... Just thinking.

For the holiday period, there are exceptions regarding restrictions on movement between municipalities and regions. Crossing between municipalities and regions FOR THE PURPOSE OF VISITING will be allowed during the period:
– from December 24 at 12:00 to December 25, 2020, until 20:00,
– from December 31, 2020, at 12:00 to January 1, 2021, until 20:00.

I can hardly believe that someone would file a criminal report against a benefactor and a positive person from the Hribi.net portal. Primož is the main advocate for respecting and enforcing anti-corona measures. Probably some misunderstanding was at fault here.
