Yesterday from home to Paški Kozjak first to Špik and then to Basališče. No problems following the trail. On some parts the trail was a bit icy. On the north side of Ostrica they cut a lot of forest and enabled views to Črni vrh, Kopa and further to Austria. The stamp at Basališče is gone, only the handle left.
The hut at Paški Kozjak is unfortunately closed since the start of the year.

Haven't been to Paški Kozjak for a long time, so today a bit more walking (under 6 hours). From Antonova cerkvica in Vitanje along the ridge to Špik, back along Prisoje roads through beautiful meadows on that side. A bit of everything. From walking to body limits to Basališče, icy tests along ridge around Ojstrica, cold snack on Špik, and dog companion who aimed to scare us suddenly and then follow to the car in Vitanje beautiful familiar places, nothing less to experience. Maybe scaring too much, but some 100m ridge sections are really tricky, wished for spikes under soles, no retreat. Carefully cm by cm it went. Tough conditions in hills, no new snow, old is packed and icy. Safe! cheers

Actually closest by paw to lynx, no claws, size too big for dog - compared to my giant dog companion. Lynx doesn't live here, but obviously big wanderer Thanks Zlatko, that long one around klobuki still to come. Interesting yesterday's was only 5km shorter. One great idea privately  cheers

Circular tour from Dobrna is nice. Still snow on top. We saw a little scared mouse... That was years ago, nice memories.

Ha, ha, you found a long variant I did it from Dobrna. From Basališče descent most of the way on my own to the start (spa).
Have you hiked the ridge in photo 23? If not, I recommend it and you make a nice loop - Kozjek, Kislica, Špičasti vrh

Yes I have. From the same start, to Strnad meadow Kislica and Stenica. Kozjek includes various pathless variants too. Colleague (local) says he likes to loop Kislica, Stenica and Basališče.
