In Tivoli Park there are plenty of such pheromone traps (inventory of the desert beetle http://parktivolirozniksisenskihrib.si/novica/zacenja-se-popis-hrosca-puscavnika).. Maybe they are intended for something else here.

While everyone is looking for winter idyll towards Zelenice, this is the real paradise nasmeh Psssss, don't tell anyone mežikanje
Otherwise I visited this idyll on Friday, but conditions probably haven't changed, since the temperature was constantly around zero below freezing. As for conditions, I was most worried at the start, those ledges along the logging trail, but there was lots of avalanche debris to cross so I think no major danger there now.

Today up the hunting trail. Path to summit almost bare. Traversing by pasture fence to hut with some care. Snow there in places up to pasture fence height. Snowshoes not much use there. Weather cloudy with some sun rays and bit of wind. Quite a few visitors. Most up via other path from Vrančka direction. Don't know about border ridge to Ljubelj hut. Found interesting track for these parts.

On Friday it blew too hard to go to top. Turned around just under 100m below summit. Some drifts otherwise nice and hard. Didn't see such tracks mežikanje

Well, this will be the first entry for this beautiful pasture after two years.

With the group of retirees Pondeljkovci PD Škofja Loka we set out to the beautiful Planina Korošica. At Ljubelj we split into two groups. The less fit ones went with the guide to Stari Ljubelj. They said the hut was closed. The rest went along the border or hunting path to the pasture. The path is nice - not destroyed. First you reach the front part of the pasture, where one herd of livestock grazes - they even have running water. Then slowly you reach the beautiful Planšarija Korošica, where another herd of livestock and a whole herd of horses with three foals graze. The Planšarija is of course open and they serve friendly. They even arranged WC for both sexes. They offer excellent sour milk (three euros) and also Gorenjska buckwheat žganci with cracklings - delicious. Views of nearby Veliki vrh and Košutica were unique. On the other side Begunjščica towers beautifully. Down we went along the destroyed road - more like a cart track. I really don't know how they get up there with a car (car was at the Planšarija). On such a road (sometimes quite steep) it was hard to descend to the valley - I recommend going back along the border path too, as it will be easier. Lunch we had at Mlaka near Kranj at Dežman. The popular eatery is unfortunately closing. It was sold - shame.

Hello,

has anyone been to Planina Korošica today (from Podljubelj/Ljubelj towards Košutica)?

I'm interested in:
• what the current conditions on the path are (mud, snow, ice),
• whether the mountain pasture is already somewhat "alive",
• and if anything is possibly open or if someone is up there.

I'm planning to go tomorrow morning, so some fresh information from the field would be great 🙂

Planina or hut is closed during winter. As for conditions, wintery. At least in the upper part.
