Yesterday (3.5.2020) we went from Podvežak to Korošica. About 3 cm of new snow fell overnight, so in the morning it looked completely wintery. Otherwise almost the whole path still has old snow, which was frozen in the morning. In some spots crampons and ice axe are not superfluous, but doable without. Weather was wintery, minus and strong wind. Attaching some pics.

Does anyone know how the road to Podvežak is currently, up to where is it drivable?

Trobec, I drove the car to 1200m, that is to where you turn left towards Podvežak, straight to Planina Ravne, it goes there without problem. But you need to be careful on the return, because the road from the asphalt onwards is very icy.
It's trampled to Korošica, although the wind will do its thing nasmeh

Hello,

Today I walked the path from Podvežak towards Mala Ojstrica and via Velika Ojstrica. There is still quite a lot of snow (southern and wet) in certain sections and thorough caution is needed, especially the last scree section (before spotting Kocbek) requires great care.
The upper section along the ridge from Mala Ojstrica to Velika Ojstrica still has quite some snow patches and one needs to be careful again.
Lots of loose rocks along the ridge which will fly off if stepped on, we know how it is

For family outings with small kids it's better to wait a bit longer

We can see where the snow is higher than Kocbek's hut

This section is quite tangled and great caution is required

Yesterday from Planina Ravne over Dolge Trate. Original plan was Veliki Vrh and maybe Lučki Dedec, but winter conditions and wind deterred me. But I went down to Inkretov Studenec and straight up, a bit through scrub, to Tolsti Vrh. Past Vodotočnik over the threshold to Korošica and back to start. On Korošica there were games over weekend, judging by tracks. Met a marmot, golden eagle and one hiker. Despite unfulfilled plan, in six hours 14km, 1100m ascent.
