The weather forecast didn't promise any hiking adventure, but the morning view still showed fairly stable weather and we headed to Croatian Ravna gora, which is a stone's throw from the state border in Haloze (border crossing Leskovec). We started in Cvetlin at the intersection where the inn is; to the top it took less than an hour. From the top there is a nice view in good weather, but today the view was poorer; we could see Trakošćan castle (Pahor-Kosor meeting), Ivanščica, Sv. Avguštin and Donačka gora. The path is easy and undemanding.

Yesterday for May 1st we visited Ravna gora. Weather nice, full of visitors. Started in Cvetlin and went circular to the top, then to Filičev dom, then back to Pusti duh mountaineers' hut, and descent to Velike pečine and on to the car.

Went to check how it is at neighbors on Ravna gora. Weather sunny, path partly muddy from rain, otherwise pleasant walk to top. At Filičeva hut there was mountaineers gathering, so spent the day in company of friendly mountaineers from PD Ravna gora from Varaždin. Best greetings!

Along old paths to Ravna gora. And of course obligatory to vola. Nice weather, path to mountain OK, on pečine cleared bushes so view as it was before. lp nasmeh

On nice Saturday morning with friend we headed from Cvetlin to top. Path dry and nice for walking. Here and there on path some viper. L.p!

We went to test winter gear on this beautiful mountain, snow on some sections up to knees. I started path in Cvetlin and over pečine to top to hut. Weather sunny, path snowy, temperature at hut +4.

So let's go today see what happened on mountain. Nice weather, dry path, hikers as many as you want, because at neighbors today big holiday. Started in Cvetlin, pulled to very top, then towards Trakošćan and back to start. So nice greetings!

We were witnesses to the building of the new stamp on the mountain top

The first hut up here on the mountain was built by builders from Maribor.

There is now a nice new hotel in Trakošćan.

Nice day came, so today to top over Velike pečine. Path was dry, rock perfect for climbing, weather sunny, real enjoyment in rock. I suggest PD Ravna gora to put climbing kindergarten here, cause perfect rock for first alpine steps. On north side of wall we could nail ferrata. Nice greetings!

In nice sunny morning we headed past pečine towards mountain top, then to Filičev dom for coffee. On some spots still snow patches and have to work hard. Otherwise pleasant up there and we'll come again. Nice greetings!

So let's go today on a bit longer hike from Gradišč to Ravna gora. Plenty of everything on path from asphalt, Russian asphalt, gravel roads and off-path. Weather just right for such long hike. In Filičev dom service and hutkeeper friendliness top level. Nice greetings!

Over Švecove pečine to koča Pusti duh, where they baked and drank for Easter Monday. Down to the valley I descended on the marked path to Cvetlin. Weather sunny, path here and there still muddy from rain. Nice greetings!

Rainy sky, but we go to the top from Cvetlin, on the west path towards koča Pusti duh, onwards to the top of Ravna gora and then to Filičev dom. From here descent past Švecove pečine to the start. Path was in places muddy to hell, weather held up though. Nice greetings!

Early morning I set off from home to Cvetlin, crossed the ridge of Ravna gora towards the east, descended to the gorge to the main road and back towards Cvetlin. Path is extremely nice, only at path intersections it would be necessary to put up new and renew old signs. One walks on marked paths, off-trail and on Marijina Pilgrimage Path. Nice greetings!

While ascending the western marked path to the summit, Strahinjčica is nicely visible.

Here it is, the second highest summit of Ravna gora.

When we descend from the summit, we go left on the marked path.

There are quite a few karst sinkholes up here.

As much wild garlic as you want on the pathless terrain.

Across the stream and onto the main road.

Here at the bridge one comes down from Šestani.

And we are back on the MR path from Lepoglava.

The cliffs are nicely visible from the eastern side.

End of today's path, and the rain has started too...

A bit back to Ravna gora. This time through Bednjica, over the cliffs then to the top and to Filičev dom of course, that's obligatory nasmeh

. What a crowd today, some classes of kids. velik nasmeh

Then to the other summit and towards Višnjica, it's marked but the marking goes in 3 directions, zmeden

and in the forest without landmarks, if someone doesn't know the terrain they can easily go where they didn't plan. In Višnjica I checked the time and Kukelj, zavijanje z očmi

so I went a bit higher to look. Super view from the rock, the summit itself more for lily-of-the-valley lovers. And a ramble around the nearby hills is nice too. In short, path dry, protections on cliffs OK, eastern part from summit 686m towards Voći needs map in hand, but it's peaceful here. The one who lost the camera on this path, mrk pogled

Weather wonderful for a nice ascent to the mountain via Pečin to Vrh and to Filičev dom. And let's look at today's educational trail Balkon and Stene, which goes right under the hut. About 30 plants are marked that grow up here. The trail is nicely laid out, in some places there's a wire rope and it's well protected. You come out on the path that goes to the hut. From the hut I descended via Zlatareva path and come to the path that goes to Trakošćan. From there I continued to Švecov, where I started the path in the morning. Nice greetings!

On the path from Trakošćan towards Pusti duh I met this afternoon in the last part of the path before the spring 3 "frogs" of enviable size right next to the trail!! zadrega

Traverse of the mountain from Cvetlin over the main summit and along the eastern ridge to the take-off-north, then descent on the marked path to Žarovnica. The path was muddy in some parts from heavy showers the previous day. Markings are fading, need to renew the path, because there's quite a bit to see up there. Nice greetings!

The path mostly goes through the forest so it is not too hot

From Švecov via the wire to the top of the cliffs and then to the summit. Back I returned via the snake path. Weather solid for hiking, path without mud. velik nasmeh

From Cvetlin to the top of Pečin and then to the summit. At the hut we waited for the shower to pass, then down to the valley. Weather wet, path muddy here and there. Greetings!

18.06. hike to Ravna Gora, start from Kameničko Podgorje. Left the vehicle at the little bridge and up asphalt for about ten minutes. Then the path goes into the forest and past Babice rocks (turn goes to viewpoint Glažarova pečina). Forest road then directs us to the ridge where path goes back into forest all to the hut. Down via road.

One news. Finally the educational trail Balkon is open and the visit pays off with quite a few educational boards, and also with partly demanding path under the rocks. Path secured with wire. In the future there will be made also one adrenaline very demanding climbing path through the rocks.
