With family I'm setting off to Korošica on Sunday, just wondering what the road to pl.Podvežak is like after this rain, is it very damaged?

To the neighboring Planina Ravne it is normally drivable.

First time heading from this side. How much time is needed from Luče to Pl. Podvežak? Is the road drivable for smaller car (Corsa)?

On some sections the road is a bit worse. At the parking lot I saw both small and large cars. Around half an hour's drive.

Macadam for at least 11 km, which means at least half an hour's driving in second gear, which was tiring for me as well as for my Polot with slightly lowered suspension. You can get there, but I wouldn't go again, I'd rather go from Kamniška Bistrica and walk approx. two hours more to Korošica.

My C3 gets up this road with no problem in 1st and 2nd gear - very nice starting point for Dleskovška plateau.

Matej, thanks! We were there yesterday too and checked the road in person, which is quite solid despite the rain.

oh and if anyone else knows if the path to Korošica is passable at all after the storm??

Since the storm didn't hit Korošica directly, I think there should be no problems with passage! Otherwise, no alert was issued about any landslide or path impassability! As for the road to Planina Podvežak, it is well drivable and no special obstacles except some stones! Safe trip

Has anyone been up there in the last days - do you need winter tires? LP

There's no more snow there so you can go without problems with summer tires.

Hello, what do you know, is the road to planina Podvežak passable, still any snow or other road damage. To Kocbekov dom on Korošica maybe already dry? Thanks

The road was passable two weeks ago, but snow is probably still quite a lot across the whole plateau. I would go to Korošica tomorrow but wouldn't go alone.

Today only to planina Podvežak. Parked at Planinška, from there to Podvežak took over 2 hours. Plan was Deska but due to fog and lots of snow we turned back. 2 went behind us with touring skis. They had less snow trouble for sure, hope weather was good for them too We broke trail to the hut at Podvežak. Road to Planinška passable but very slippery and icy. LP
