Wonderful path, with a very nice view, especially Ojstrica is nicely visible! I recommend it in these days when the weather is still nice, the hike is about one hour, my girlfriend and I took a bit longer because of the wonderful nature nasmeh

We have already tried from Robanova planina to Korošica, but the waterfall and that big clear puddle under it bothered my kids, so I'm interested in how the waterfall is named and how many ledges further, since from the puddle you immediately start climbing ledges. How much further to Korošica and if descent possible elsewhere, if you have the car at the Roban parking for example.

I don't know the name of the waterfall, but I can tell you firsthand that there are more ledges and cables on this path than on Triglav by any route except the climbing Tominškova route! In short, the path is excellently secured and requires a lot of caution as well as fitness and strong leg muscles! To Korošica from there is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and if you have the car at Roban it's best to return by this same path!
If you have kids with you, it's better to go from Planina Podvežak, where it's more level and there are no dangers and it's much nicer to walk for 2 hours! nasmeh

I also suggest Podvežak - Korošica. Some pictures are at - Current conditions -, I walked this path on 3.12.07. So the advice for this path is spot on if there are doubts about the Robanov kot - Korošica path.

I just asked a question that Franc obviously didn't understand!
I, when I see a post on this forum with a similar question as mine, even if not there recently, prefer not to write anything!

Attaching pics I took this morning on the path to Robanov kot. Snow really fell quite low. Nice walk despite cold and low clouds.
Before that visit Rjavčeva cave by road between Iglo and Bevšek - marked with sign worth seeing. Lp

At least 30 years not been to Robanov kot. This visit renewed and deepened my old impressions that the valley is very beautiful. Sometimes we just flew through Robanov kot to the mountains, this time took time just for the valley. Barely one-hour long walking path from Robanova farm to Robanova alpine dairy is perfect in summer heat as shady forest parts alternate with open flats and beautiful views to Ojstrica and Krofičke cliffs. Looking back notice Raduha towering in the background over Robanova farm. Recommended short walk for young families, small kids through interesting landscape meeting various animals on pasture, meadows and forest glades overflown by colorful butterflies. At alpine dairy very friendly good offer and service of spoon dishes, dry meats, homemade cheese and drinks for adults and kids. Yesterday Sunday quite crowded. Maybe it will attract someone who can't go high into mountains and doesn't know this area to visit Robanov kot. lp

Morning walk in Robanov kot. Meadow mowed, alpine dairy still without animals and lonely. Flies boring me and constantly attacking. Snow still to be found for refreshment cool

I always drink this fresh water. On the way there and back.

Today I dare look inside, checked no bear.

Today the Monday retirees group of PD Škofja Loka visited Robanov kot and of course walked also to Robanova planšarija on Robanova planina. The planšarija is open and they serve friendly. On the pasture there are horses, pigs and cattle. Unfortunately the weather was a bit tricky, so nearby mountain peaks were in clouds. But no rain.
