Attempt to ascend Žvižgovec.
But it didn't succeed... I really didn't think this ascent from Robanov kot to Korošica was such a damn thing... and it's extremely crumbly...
To the saddle with scree on Žvižgovec I was so exhausted that I just lay there for about twenty minutes...
next time maybe... despite everything nice ascent and first high mountain challenge this year..-

No problem if it didn't succeed, fatigue can't be predicted! But it's true, the ascent to the edge takes quite a bit of energy! Good luck Marx!

Zokipoki, if nothing else here's the plan: next time from Robanov kot to Kocbek overnight and then rested on the way back to Žvižgovec...

Today again attempt on Žvižgovec and again failure...
Again the ascent from RObanoveg Kota completely exhausted me..
and a thunderstorm washed me at the waterfall on the descent, I was completely wet...

11.8.2025 Žvižgovec
My son came on vacation from Spain. When he's in Slo., one day is used for a joint hike into the mountains. The same way we head to the Spanish mountains when we come to him in Spain with his wife.
My suggestion was Žvižgovec. The morning was warm, without morning freshness. I chose this wall because I knew it would be in morning shade. The ascent went without issues. The aids are OK!
When we reach the saddle, I start searching in the brush for a passage for the approach. In 2021, I did a rock approach and then fought through the brush to the summit. The brush faces you, I got tired. Descent from the top via the easier variant. When I find a logical approach and a fairly visible (at least the start) passage in the brush, it fails. While climbing the rock and partly the brush, we run into a wasp nest. A swarm of wasps rises from the brush, it gets quite dangerous. The wasps dive into my head, I feel a sting in the nape. In panic, I partly lose balance and barely hold on so as not to roll down the slope. We abandon this passage and search for another, if there is one? We have a closer encounter with a thick black viper and say to ourselves: "enough for today!" We have a photo of the viper, but not of the wasps big

We take time for rest, I cool the swollen nape sting with a stone. Return to Robanov kot is slower. Caution is needed because it is all covered in scree!!! The sun hits us too and it gets hot. The path from the hut to the parking drags. Luck that I parked the car earlier in the forest shade.
At Bifej Igla, we both jump into the freshness of the Savinja.
