At PD Šmarna Gora we constantly warn that the Pogačnikova path to Grmada is marked as VERY DIFFICULT, so use of the via ferrata kit is mandatory.

It's surely not mandatory; it can be recommended.

Tinky, OK, recommended, but better that I wrote mandatory; anyway, few on Pogačnikova use the kit.

Before five, the first visitor I greeted,
who with the Mountain today has already dealt.
Via Mazijeva I turned to Grmada,
to check if the flowers are still right.
On the ridge a breeze refreshed me,
before to the saddle and summit I turned.
The view to the valley was not first league,
probably someone with hand made a strong figo. velik nasmeh

Well known to all when standing above Ljubljana

There is still a lot of work in the forest

Mazijeva path was nicely cleared soon after the ice storm, now that they've fixed some "minor" spots too, the walk on it is even greater pleasure. Many thanks to PD Šmarna gora for your effort and dedication also from our side! nasmeh

I went to check on Kovačeva steza. Pity it's not cleared. Apparently forest owners have their interests. But I took Westrova over Grmada to Šmarna. Path of Freedom also not possible. Down over Peske.
