Today for the first time into real steepness after recovering from stomach flu and the path to the sinkhole is just right to catch my breath and see how the strength is.
Right after the first steps I breathe Solčava air and it already pulls me in. Teloh rests quietly in the forest, liverwort and lungwort gently adorn the path to the linden. At the homestead it's really nice! Arranged surroundings and hut and quite a few benches to sit in this paradise! Wonderful!
I head into the forest steeply uphill. Up the scree, then left to the edge and right up. The wire rope is a bit worn, but still okay! Warmed by sun and steepness I reach the sinkhole. Still some strength left!
Thoughts fly here and there, gaze reaches beyond the sky!

The steep slopes above Solčava are really something special. Already last Thursday, when we went to the grave in Solčava with kids and mom, the sight of Huda peč captivated me as if seeing it for the first time. It didn't give me peace, so today I took the chance to visit it again. In the cold morning I head towards the linden, step by step immersing into another world. At Hribernik I turn left, onto the old track uphill, which takes me traversing under the wall. The track ends, eyes search for traces of some path, and successfully follow them. Here and there I lose it, but soon back on the path, maybe a different one than before. I think one used to go to Podolševa from here some time ago, nice places. When the path turns north, at the big rock I stick to the ridge I had in mind, the western one. Wilderness quickly shows itself. First time here and I go blindly, as far as I can, on the easiest passages that aren't easy, as the terrain is rough i.e. demanding. Steep grass and steep rocky world. So beautiful and wild that I could hardly comprehend it on the spot. Definitely coming back here. Safe!
