I've been bedridden for a month due to severe nerve inflammation in my left leg and only follow the mountain paths via the internet. This winter I started hiking intensively in the mountains, where I discovered many beautiful and to me unknown things. This path that your group did, my wife and I had planned to do too, but it got postponed for us for a while. I'm interested how long it took you to Krekova hut, because we'll do it back too due to our own transport. Best mountaineer's greeting, Borut.

Hi Borut! We took two hours and four minutes for the path from the junction to the hunting hut on Soriska planina to the hut on Ratitovec. Get well soon. Bye!

Does anyone know if there is a marked path from SOTESKA (path to Bohinj) to Rovtarica and then to Ratitovec?

On the page http://www.hribi.net/gora/gladki_vrh_ratitovec/21/1308 there are descriptions of paths from Bitenjska planina to Ratitovec and from Rovtarica to Ratitovec. The second is significantly longer. I haven't hiked from Soteska to Rovtarica or Bitenjska planina yet, but on the map Škofjeloško and Cerkljansko hribovje a footpath is marked. After all, every winter there is an organized hike Soteska - Rovtarica - Dražgoše.

Hi, at the top of Soriska (cable car) there is a log with holes through which you can see surrounding peaks and places. I'm interested if any hiker knows if such a creative viewpoint solution exists elsewhere in the Slovenian mountains?

palček plezalček, please provide information. First time hearing about Rehtarjev grič and I see that up there even a cross and sign.
I've hiked Ratitovec ridge many times and don't know where this peak hides at the path start. I always start a few turns below Soriska planina, where mini parking by road and marked path starts.

Gergia, then you surely go past hunter's bivouac, which is on first pic (adding two more). Right above it Rehtarjev grič (right if approach from road to Soriska planina), bears same name as planina where 'bivouac' stands.

Now you've fully exposed me that I know nothing about these hills.  Was 2x on Golem vrh from Prtovča and once did some climbing; that's all. Where marked path from below Soriska runs, unknown to me.  No hiker tracks, except one snowshoer met at start. Two with dog, but didn't follow their track. Tourists wandered here previous days, ski tracks were there, but each went bit own way.

Gladki vrh is one of the peaks of Ratitovec, not Goli vrh
