Yesterday - Črni vrh, Španov vrh, via Pejce - from home to home. Through the forest the path is snowy. Ascent to the top via ski slope. Slope full of snow in places, elsewhere almost bare with icy patches. Descent past cottages and along cart track to Prihodi. Then again on the old mining path, via Pejce, back towards home. Interesting wandering..

In these days when it occasionally stops raining, you have to take advantage. Quickly grab backpack and boots and off to the hills. There was almost nothing else but Španov vrh today. Surprised by the height of snow cover, at top good 20 cm new, southern snow. Pity, as so much only in last third of path. For skiing absolutely too little in lower part. In last steep part dense fog awaited me.

Good we have in our family a mountain flower full of knowledge, ideas and good will...so finally Španov vrh came up. Also MAJDAG often makes us pine with descriptions of these nice places. Right time today for tour from Pristava past eco farm to Španov vrh. What views all around. On right Krvavka, Golica, Klek, Rožca, Hruščanski vrh. Then Mežaklja with Jerebikovec. Now Julijci - from Škrlatica to Razor, Stenar, Bovški Gamsovec, Pihavec...our highest...then also south-Bohinj mountains. Just stand and look, wonderful. Caught narcissuses, hairy hawkweed, marmot, marsh marigolds. Descended to Črni vrh. Pity ski hut abandoned, such view of Triglav. Hope for good winters so ski area continues.

To meadows above Jesenice to see narcissuses....Jeseniški rovti, Španov vrh, Over seven ravines....Path over ravines changed due to new tracks. No signs. So checked path only on return from Skavarjev rovtu. Narcissuses blooming on meadows along path. For fragrant scents and nice views taken care of. Be nice for you too

today up here, path to top bare but muddy, some snow patches still along path under top and on meadows in shade.. cheers

Today morning nice sunny weather, buses drove in vain this weekend too, went first on foot from Čop to Španov then back down, then also with chairlift to top and foot back down..Španov vrh already besieged in morning, Golica I assume had many visitors too

Planina pod Golico, Križovec, Savske jame - circular path. Paths mostly dry, nice views over fogs from the top. Continuation past GRS through forest. Then along the road to Križovec and towards Savske jame. At Markeljnov rov no sign for Golica, only for Rudna pot. Road through Savske jame closed by traffic sign. Nice though, sled fences not cleared yet. Good luck!
