Descent from Plešivec was easier. There were plenty of cairns and I had a GPS track.

How much brushwood needs to be forced through from the other side, I don't know. To the top of Ušje I think it can mostly be avoided. When crossing to Plešivec though in the initial part I don't know if there are any hidden passages.

But visiting Ušje is worth every effort. And for the first time the tour can be just to here mežikanje

Real "Trentarji" go to Ušje from the Church of Our Lady of Loreto in Trenta. They continue the path towards Plešivec and descend to Staro Utro. From there back to the church. It's complicated and bushy, but doable. nasmeh

5.08.2025. Along the mulatjera towards Stari Utro to bend 20, as others described. We didn't have navigation. We took the path descriptions. And went. On a beautiful morning along the known path. We didn't see Podskalarja. And it went straight to the saddle behind Česno. Further to the solnica isn't far. Now we are in high Trent grasses. We look where it could be possible to go. Even the photo from the late Zlodej came in handy, where he describes where he went. The terrain is steep all the way. All to the top. In the second part of the path we went through the gully. There we stowed the poles and quickly put on helmets. At the viewpoint, we checked the last part to the top. Before it wasn't visible. And we were at the top after hours of walking. We took our time. Beautiful views. Clouds occasionally covered Bavški Grintavec. The descent through the grasses worried us a bit. But no problems. Great tour that will remain in good memory in Trent solitude. At the top there were quite a few rocks damaged by lightning.
