The Šum waterfall is very watery, the Radovna river has risen, passage over footbridges closed..

I too today here past St. Catherine then further around Hom and back on steep side, where the path is very muddy. To the waterfall Majda should have gone a few days ago when there was still much more water than today

Šum Waterfall... Jusk, it was three days ago. I myself went to St. Catherine and Hom. And back the same path, because too slippery on the slope to the other side. But the path from Vintgar direction to St. Catherine church and Hom top is marked. Signs on all paths, all directions. Path nicely passable even in this rainy time and pleasure to watch birdies on Hom top.

St. Catherine's Church on Hom. I made a circular route, Hom and Boršt. In Vintgar Gorge they are repairing footbridges, I heard from the top. The path to the chapel is solitary, mostly a cart track. Back to Vintgar I went for the first time on the path that leads left from the inn. To the only walker with a dog, I moved high into the slope. Maybe I awaken memories or brighten someone's day for someone. Take table Heinz boards are also from the other side. Stay healthy!

Chapel of St. Catherine and Vintgar Gorge.... Otherwise it's currently not possible if you want to go via footbridges from Dobrava side. You must go over the steep side or past St. Catherine. Entry to the gorge is only from Podhom. Path past St. Catherine chapel is very nice, with little level ascent. Pleasant trail with views, just livestock is grazing and they have calves too. On footbridges it's nice as always. Only with larger crowds there are possible jams or overtaking past groups. Usually everyone photographs the same motifs.

Walked this wonderful gorge and must say this circular path is quite interesting, better than going back same way.

Today due to bad weather just one short loop from Bled Dobrava to Šum and back. Radovna has quite big flow, also along path everywhere full of water. Regards

Majda, probably wouldn't ever walk there if not for the circular path prescribed. But like this: yes, very nice. Otherwise, you were at home in beautiful places.

The gorge has been closed for some time until new season, but you can get from Šum waterfall to railway bridge over Radovna, from there on it's locked. It's icy, path frozen. Radovna has low flow
