Summer vacation - where??

For the last four years with my dear one we have spent a ten-day vacation in the Italian Dolomites. The Dolomites offer many easier and harder mountain hikes, and at the same time there are many opportunities for cycling (mountain and flat). Many hikes are described on this website, some we discovered ourselves. Where this year? To the Dolomites!nasmeh

The Balkans are very cheap. Besides the mentioned Montenegro, phenomenal is Macedonia (hill walking, climbing, flying, cycling, bathing in lakes). If you want a bit more adventurous then Albania.

There's nothing better than spending vacation in Slovenia. I still can't believe my eyes what natural beauties we have and so many hidden interesting corners, waterfalls, small lakes, animals, flowers, freshness, peace, cleanliness....

Until you enjoy foreign beauties, you don't fully appreciate your own.
When I'm here, I want to go there. And when I'm there, it pulls me home. That's how it is mežikanje

But to be able to ski on "the real" snow in one day (Vogel), walk deep underground (Škocjan) and swim in the sea (coast), not many places have that nasmeh
