In the last days our Bohinj has been quite well snowed. Right in the valley the snow cover starts at about 30 cm, in the Upper Bohinj Valley, which is only less than 100 m higher than the Lower, around half a meter. With altitude the snow depth increases rapidly. Telling is the data from Vogel, where it's already almost 3 meters.
The snow is quite "fluffy" - meaning it sinks to the ground when stepping. Snowshoes don't help much currently either.
But finally there's some winter joy again.
