That day inversion was very strong and no lift at all (no gradient or temp difference). Exactly such day I wanted for easier takeoffs from peaks, otherwise blows too hard and almost impossible to takeoff. On descent used only glider's speedbar 1/7 (1m height makes 7m glide) otherwise would go to Grintovec and fly all in 5h pure air, but that's nothing. Others before me did such challenge in combo but drove car to nearest starts. My challenge all on own power. With time spent could almost halve if not waiting on peaks for good wind takeoff and gear changes (bike, hike, glider prep).

After all this has plenty to do with hills, especially alpin user's post ties to the soul.
People are different and visit hills differently too. All enjoy it!

You get the form on the TNP website, fill it out, send it and wait for a favorable decision.

janez from Kamniška Bistrica (Konca) at 3...from Krma at 10 and from Valvazor at 19:15, at the summit at 20:57...return to Valvazor at 23:30, in between had to go for jota in the hut  that means from 3am to 23:30

Tomaž11, can you tell me what sense this racing from peak to peak has? What did you want to prove with this undertaking? I've been hiking in mountains for almost 40 years, but back then we didn't value such nonsense. I know, times have changed, adrenaline and various undertakings that have almost nothing to do with mountaineering prevail even in mountaineering. Tomaž this is my personal opinion, and I myself see no sensible reason for such undertakings.

zdomec usually I don't reply here but send a private message, I don't know what's so special here, I've never raced in mountains nor am I a mountain runner, I can't understand people who always find something negative in something....there are people who need two days for Triglav, some do it in one day, some even in an hour and a half, I count myself among hikers for whom these 9 km from Krma are not bigger problems and for normal walking I need good 3 hours, Grintovec is even easier version and for 6 km you don't need too much time either....and where is the problem now? If someone goes on a tour from Bohinj via Seven Lakes to Triglav that's ok, though quite a few kilometers. I enjoy these tours and don't compete with anyone, just yesterday I made over 400 pics on all three hikes and stopped at three huts. Well some of us have more stamina and it's no problem to do such tours.

I know, it's envy. One can't do good two hours of walking, then thinks in little Slovenian way that others can't either ....
