Congratulations! If only it weren't so far there... at least for me.

I got to Lojze at half past six. The mulatjera to Stari Ut through the forest is pleasantly shady, the rising heat wasn't felt yet. Later every little breeze from around there was welcome Along the path to the hut except nice views and mountain flowers we didn't encounter anything special, but there the serious path of course just starts. To the foot of Pelc several different paths lead, Lojze led on his trail equipped with "scissor marks". There are also quite a few cairns along the path. After crossing the scree Lojze sets his reliable step into Pelc's slopes – first traversing up, later more directly over steep grass, short chimney, grassy rocky gullies, everything is set quite steeply.. Bushes are more solid help on ascent (and descent), since rock isn't reliable everywhere – you have to rely more on it when ascending through the gully that runs a bit more left (south) of our approach, paths later join. At the notch by the north subpeak of Pelc the views to the west open for the first time, soon after the most annoying but short ascent over a rock slab awaits us, weak point is a 4-meter high crack. After that it wasn't far to the top. Nice views, hardly any summer haze, hot when ventilation wasn't working and safer without chamois, otherwise frequent visitors to these slopes. We returned the same way, except the "hunting" shortcut to the spring at 19th serpentine. Water was barely trickling but it hit the spot.. Refreshment hardly interested Lojze, he just expressed concern about ever smaller rainfall amounts… We parted with agreement for an autumn tour, less demanding than this one.

Extremely clear pictures. You caught Prisankova Zvonika nicely. God grant Lojze health. If you mean traversing both peaks, I'd gladly join you two.

Yesterday, 5.10.2022 along the old road to the 19th serpentine and along the hunting trail to the hut. Just before Lojze's homestead I caught up with an old friend and classmate Igor. What a coincidence, or maybe not… if you're often in the mountains. Igor returned to Lojze for a visit, I continued towards the summit. The path is well traceable and, except for minor detours, I arrived at the summit without special searching. Views divine… Autumn colors on the return through beech forests along the old road simply beautiful.

Visited Trentski Pelc with a colleague this Sunday, 1.6.2025. Start at Berebica gallery and return the same way back. Forecasted southwest wind motivated me to plan summit arrival earlier. We biked to the end of the military road. The road is in excellent condition, quite friendly even to bikes with smoother tire profiles. A bit rougher only at the very beginning. The trail ahead from the hunting hut to the entry gully above the scree is quite flagged and mostly normally followable. The trace breaks under the scree itself, where you continue straight to the snow patch left of the scree and climb over it to steep grass, where we spot flagged footsteps again. There the trace turns right and in a few minutes we're at the entry gully. The gully is dry and normally passable. The rock step below the summit is fully dry too. On the return we visited local Lojze, who rejoices every good-willed person the path brings to these remote Trenta peaks.
