Tržič Mountain Trail T-24

Yesterday I accompanied Marjan Zupančič on an ultra feat on the famous Tržič mountain trail. Tržič mountain trail is 60 km long with 7000 elevation gain, it ascends the 10 highest Tržič peaks.
The trail is marked for about 36 hours, Marjan managed yesterday to set a new course record: 13 h 42 min.

On Saturday we're going with colleague Klemen Zupan on T24. Weather will be good, so I can hardly wait.

I'm impatient, because tomorrow is D-day for me. I'll head out on a tour I've wanted to do for 5 years. So in one day to: Dobrča, Begunjščica, Vrtača, Ljubeljščica, Košuta, Veliki vrh Košute, Veliko Kladivo, Košutnikov turn, Stegovnik, Storžič and Tolsti vrh Kriške gore. With Klemen Zupan we start at 4.30 in Tržič.

Seems quite a late start, but if you approach the course record, you'll finish the tour in daylight anyway.

Thanks. The plan is first to sleep well and second to start in daylight, which means we don't need to carry headlamps. If we're late, we'll pick up lamps at Javornik pasture, where former course record holder - Aleš Rozman will wait for us. We also have aid stations at Stari Ljubelj (Klemen's brother) and Dolga Njiva (Klemen Triler). Thanks!

By nine is a bit optimistic. We'll see, everything depends on the daily form. And even if the time is bad, just no injuries.

Success!!!!! 18 hours 55 min, so not exactly in planned time, but still happy that Klemen and I made it around without injuries.
Thanks to the whole crew of supporters, you were awesome! Without you it wouldn't have worked.
More when I recover.
