Sorry for me it's pure ordinary kitsch and pure ordinary showing off... Anyway every eye has its painter.

HEHE... Hribovc88 gotta tell you I don't pay much attention to opinions of those clueless about photography Attaching some more pics with views from Stanič's hut or nearby.

@rezist: photos are nice, though I admit some shots are a bit too processed with software for my taste. I'm a fan of the saying "less is more"

What is too much is too much, it applies to all fields or one could say it already exceeds the limit of good taste.

@Hribovc88 and @rezist: Both make nice photos, each in his own way. BUT @otiv outshines both of you , just check his post on the previous page Those are photos for the soul! Regards

The photo is the record of the photographer's eye, to depict what he holds for his skies. He wishes to succeed best in this art, so everyone grasps the joy in his heart.

True polemic from many, some praise @otiv's pics, capralbexa's Rezist's, criticize Hribovc, real waste of time and all for commenting. Presented Rezist's pics are really wonderful, and it won't be long till our group sets off to admire the view from Stanič hut and nearby, all this alpine beauty. Nice greeting.

So you won't be disappointed when you get up there, because not everything will be so "enhanced" as on rezist's pics.

On Tuesday I passed by Valentin Stanič Hut. Hard to spoil a photo, in such surroundings it's practically impossible.

The fact is, digital cameras take very different "real" shots: color and light contrasts vary wildly, images stretched, almost no space. Each camera processor "corrects" the image its own way. From the other side, even computer-processed photos can't evoke the real beauty seen by the eye. That's why most photographers do further editing. Corrections are not coarse, of course. rezist's pics are realism for me, i.e. wonderful moments captured by lens.

Hello, I'm interested if anyone has recently stayed overnight in the winter room of Stanič's hut - how much space is there, what is recommended to bring, any peculiarities...? Thanks for answers!

The winter room is small, but nicely arranged. There are basically 4 beds, but 6 can sleep there without major issues. There should be enough blankets so you won't freeze, but if you need more you have to bring your own.

I slept at night temps around 0°C with three blankets and it was still too warm. For colder temps you need to bring a sleeping bag.
