Yesterday we were on Great and Small Špičje.
Start from Planina Blato still in the dark. We arrived at the hut by Double Lake just in time for breakfast nasmeh

Then towards Great Špičje.
Tall grasses full of dew but we soon ascended to rockier terrain under Špičje.
Some pegs in the walls to the summit and the path is b.p. On top we take in the views, refuel and continue to Small Špičje.
Along the ridge to Small Špičje it's a real botanical garden walk. What all is blooming now eek

Below Small Špičje we cross a bit on our own to Green Lake then down the Triglav Lakes valley.
Return via Štapce to Dedno polje to Henrik for sour milk. Yum zavijanje z očmi

What are the conditions for the path from Hut at Triglav Lakes - Zasavska hut via Lepo Špičje?

The path is passable without winter gear.

Yesterday on return from Prehodavci I went over Lepo Špičje, Mali Špičje and Veliko Špičje. At seven I leave the hut at Prehodavci and head into beautiful July morning over flat rocks to Lepo Špičje. Already there red rhododendrons greet me - that's actually why I went to Veliko Špičje. A group of hikers overtakes me happy there's something. On Veliko Špičje we meet a large herd of chamois. They were quite tame. The little jumper wouldn't budge, though mom was calling him warningly. Returned via Spodnja Krma to Savica. Surprisingly, river dries up soon after waterfall. Never ran into something like that all these years.

The path to Lepo Špičje starts over these flat rocks.

Returning via Spodnja Krma - passing by there. At this junction is planina Lopučnica.

Protected mountain flower Špičje - red murka. Flowers of the entire tour can be viewed at rožcah.

I like photographing mountain animals too, if my lens catches them. In the dewy morning, a black newt hid among the grass.

I nearly stepped on this bird - I think it's a siskin. On Temen, a mountain hare startled me as it suddenly dashed past me. Butterflies usually escape before I can photograph them.

02.08.2013 On Friday, from Ukanca over Komarča to Black Lake, Hut at 7 Lakes and over Lepo Špičje to Zasavska hut (Prehodavci). If you see vegetation along the way it's really a botanical corner, especially before ascent to Lepo Špičje. In strong sun we had a very strenuous ascent. Photos http://www.pdmaticams-drustvo.si/

By chance does anyone know what the path from Prehodavci to Veliko Špičje is like and what to Hut at Sedmerih?

Yesterday I went over Komarča to Veliko Špičje and on along the ridge to Prehodavci then descended via Komna. Path from Hut at Triglav Lakes to entry into Špičje wall is poorly traceable in places due to high undergrowth. The rest to top of Veliko Špičje and on ridge to Prehodavci is in good condition and no snow patches.

Target was Plaški Vogel, but devil had a hand in it....or my (in)ability mrk pogled

. Anyway, despite excellent descriptions and photos (thanks Alyas) I missed the turnoff at end of Planina Pri Utah, realized it much higher up and of course all sweaty used plan B and classically marched to Veliko Špičje jezik

. On the way up and down like a general on the front with map in hand analyzed terrain from above and assessed the mistake!!! Still day not wasted, nice path, great views, one chamois below, some flies on top, that's all I met going up, on return quite some foreigners around 7J. This time Plaški Vogel escaped me, next time not cool

. Couldn't reward Veliko Špičje with my autograph cuz no space in logbook, inside even two filled postcards with hikers, obviously really needs a new book nasmeh

Beautiful Lepo Špičje and even nicer autumn. Wonderful Triglav Lakes and exceptional views. Insanely beautifully colored larches and excellent company. nasmeh

Today my girlfriend and I escaped the fog to Veliko Špičje. Start in front of Savica Lodge. Conditions switch between summer and winter depending on the sun. Summit part soft, winter gear left in backpack.
Long tour.. NO! Short day. nasmeh

On 25.8.2016 ridge traverse of Lepo Špičje. Started at Blato meadow, over Štabce to Double Lake and on to Veliko Špičje. Short stop at summit, then along ridge to Prehodavci. Tour strenuous and slip-dangerous, great caution needed. Ridge offers great views. To Veliko Špičje some cables help us, on ridge just some pegs. Markings poorly visible, extra caution needed. Nice regards
