Very nice, information regarding entry is also forthcoming for all who ask.
Good luck

27.8. we ascended this route. Snowfield can be avoided via left edge gully, but there's some climbing there. Snow is very hard, so if crossing it ice axe very welcome.

Chimney (really obvious) at ca. 2200-2300m can be bypassed via much easier path right along wall - useful for descent.

Cables mostly ok except one place torn off, route excellently marked, orientationally simple, but more demanding fitness-wise.

Descent same way without major issues.

Magnificent!
Is this the most demanding marked route in Julian Alps? (Or even in all our Alps?)

This could be debated. Some spot without cable is II (left of God's ledges).
Interesting question

mrk pogledyesterday 2 experienced ski tourers from FJK, 34 and 42 years old, were taken by avalanche on descent from summit via "gola nord-est", they triggered avalanche almost at start of descent and it carried them down over 500 m, their present friend then descended partway on skis in difficulty to an edge and called rescuers, 3 helicopters involved in accident site, got them immediately as they lay above snow already dead, started from former Corsi hut.

Why from the "former" Corsi hut? Is it gone?

x letalec, because the hut has been closed for a couple of years (until unknown) for renovation, I think it will take a long time still.

Yesterday to Viš via NE ridge.

To be honest, what I liked most was being mostly in the shade from start to end of the ridge. The ascent is a piece of cake, but I expected less need to count the fixed ropes. Maybe ascents above Beli Potok spoiled me too much. Summit well visited from Corsi direction, needs new summit book.

Descended via Anita Goitan towards Koštrunove Špice and Šrbin Prednje Špranje. Right under the spires got a bit lost on the path but found it, for Šrbin don't know if descent or ascent is trickier. Anyway, continued to Zajezero, did some canyoning on the way looking for water.

Info for Alessio, on path 616, half hour above junction to 611 towards Stuparič, torrent broke off rock with pegs, so path hard for normal hikers there.

thanks for info Coffee, think it's from last year if not mistaken, got a pic maybe? because would warn CAI FVG (PD FJK) again to close path and fix asap; as Locanka posted that's the right variant as Pellarini hut keeper made it years ago after landslide, I missed it then too followed marks and noticed.

Alessio, meant pics 53-57 and same spot as Ločanka's pics. Also Dprapr posted pics of same state from 2019 on prev page.

thanks, all clear, wrongly thought of path 611 towards biv. Stuparich because there is or was a secured part on oski shelf a bit problematic.

Didn't use winter gear.
By feel I'd say snowfield could be avoided on left side, but not 100%.

One pic, borrowed, from good week ago - snowfield there, but can bypass without issue
