Winter

The response to AUTUMN was beyond expectations. Also the quality of the photos was very good. We all could learn something. Now I suggest we tackle WINTER (which has already shown its beauties in the high mountains). Forecasts are already favorable!
Thanks to all who made the effort and brought autumn colors to our screens.

On the Italian side Kanin-Rif. Gilberti 1840m, according to latest data 51cm of snow has already fallen. Most of it, 10cm, fell yesterday from 16h-19h, a couple of cm more around 2am. Fronts are still coming for the weekend, so next week in the mountains close to one meter. Lp-Rok

Today's forecast wasn't such as to enjoy snow and sun, but we had snow and some sun in the morning on Velika Planina, by car to the intersection for Kisovec, on foot over Marjanje njiva to Gojška to Mala Planina and further to Zeleni rob, back the same path. Nice greeting and luck.

Depends on which end of SLO you are from?
Otherwise, you drive towards the Ljubelj border crossing, the last bend before Ljubelj has the parking lot on the left, the path starts on the right side, you go on the gravel road, further on it's marked.

It was like this on Thursday on the path from Pl. Blato - Pl. Dedno polje - Za Kopico - Vrh globoke konte - Vršaki - Dolina za Debelim vrhom - Pl. v Lazu - Pl. Blato.
