As information (not so fresh but still many don't know) We mountain runners aren't old farts!!!velik nasmeh
5th at WC on VELIKA PLANINA IS THE CURRENT OLYMPIC MARATHON CHAMPION!!! And here too most flat runs and street races are won by mountain runners, which hasn't happened the other way.nasmeh

By the way: the winner isn't a mountain runner at all, but a long-distance runner. At WC 2010 Ugandan and Eritrean runners participated exclusively for promotion. Here most street races and flat runs aren't won by "mountain runners" but by "flat runners". I won't list names...
