On Monday 3.8.2026 the plan was Nizki vrh from planina Bukovec, but we didn't find good passages (now I know that we were looking quite a bit higher; we should have looked lower, where we were looking everything ended with a cliff), so after searching we went towards the Kanja saddle and continued in the direction of Zagorelec. There the orientation is not difficult, and the ridge to Zagorelec is not difficult either, as it is wide. The most annoying spot is the descent from the Kanja saddle back to Bavšica, where there is quite a bit of "scree". There is no water at the hunting lodge, but it flows a little lower down. The path is mowed, so no major problems with nettles. nasmeh It was a nice exploration; in the whole day we didn't meet anyone.nasmeh

For the N peak go left up right before the hut. And don't walk in shorts through those nettle plantations if you don't have rheumatismwink

Yes, we figured it out, we went above the hut, or at the hut, but we didn't find where to descend, next time. The next day we "studied" the passage from Bala. We had long pants in the backpack, in case we needed them smile,

From Maja from Bala it's much easier. Verified. And I think there's still a guy there where the path branches off further to Brežič saddle. Through Bukovska korita it's quite annoying to walk. nasmehIt's better to return by the same path back.

Yes, Darinka is right, when you discover the steep gully it's on the rock where the path branches off to the saddle Vrh Osojnika, yesterday we explored up to about 1800m, then we turned back, it was already the third day of walking in this heatzadrega but we explored the lower partnasmeh
