Nice greeting. Is there a branch for the described path, between the part where we come out of the forest towards Kam. sedlo and before entering the "wall"? Or, if I'm thinking right - did you descend right of Okrešelj, if looking into the valley?

Picture number 18, that you described as Krnica, is named "Za ogradcem". The saddle above it is Pasje sedlo. From Pasje sedlo under the walls of Kamniško sedlo to the marked path Pod Kotliči it's called Zadnji Okrešelj.

čebejla you're right, we descended right of Okrešelj. But we went quite lower than Pasje sedlo and then crossed the stony ridge full of interesting sculptures. cheers ziki Still don't know if I named the hill with the cross correctly, which Laščani put on top. Is it Kopica/Grič/Sleeping hillock?? Regarding the naming of Gornji Okrešelj I found the name in Planinski vestnik: September 2005 in a polemic on naming between PD Matica Celje president and undersigned Elč Prezelj - article (Al’ is it written correctly Sleeping hill or Kopica? "they called it Grič, this sensible folk name has not been preserved in living speech). This is the well visible hillock in the middle of Gornji Okrešelj, as we call the lower world between Turska gora, Rinkami and Mrzla gora". cheers

As far as I know from Robanov Jož's story this glacial moraine is called zaspani hriber. Never heard or read Kopica. It's located right under Turska gora or under Menih, as that pointed rock sticking out of the scree or Peski is called (locals call scree Peski.) Left of Menih or Zaspani hribra to Pasje sedlo it's called Zadnji Okrešelj.

Zlatko, super that you revived this link. I had almost forgotten these beautiful and distant-from-crowds areas. So close... yet so far.

Dolfi, sometimes we joked, now it's really abroad, even for us, not just for those from western Slovenia.

Zlatko, long pants are a good protection against ticks. It's just getting a bit hot...

Today via the Pastirska path to Okrešelj and further to the torrent bed. Along it until I tell myself I'm probably too high already, but just then I spot on the left some sawn dwarf pine branches. Easily I reach under the ridge, along which I'd be quickly on top, but since it seemed to me that it wasn't the one, I turn right down and under walls on a quite visible little path. At the end nothing - walls below me, walls above. I enter the gully which is quite crumbly and not exactly easy (more than III but not much). Anyway I climb to the top, but strongly discourage. I descend via the little ridge that Geppo mentions as exposed. Because of the little ridge I carried some meters of old rope. Crumbliness is not nice, but compared to the ascent it's poetry. I continue through forest and dwarf pines to marked path to Kamniško sedlo, follow it briefly, then turn towards Pasje sedlo and on the other side down the system of screes to entrance of Grlo, which with Rjavči vrh should be part of the tour. Due to strong wind and increasingly weird clouds, I leave them for another time and continue to coffee in Logarska kot. After lounging, once more feet on path. If morning tour was dry, short afternoon rewarded with abundance of drops.

Wonderful! Pastirska to Okrešelj is a class of its own. You did this very nicely. Cheers

little climber fot5 to that bush at the end I also strolled and upon seeing it, I turned back instead, found another approach. This one isn't so difficult as yours was But that damned ridge is a nightmare for my 105kg...for yours (?kg) it's poetry When we meet next time in Logarska, I'll show you where to traverse the ridge below Pasje sedlo? cheers

Nice @little one. Another trip where you're alone, regardless of the crowds around Okrešelj.

Dolf The ascent to ZH itself isn't that hard. For me the tricky part is those last few meters on scree. No proper footholds, no handholds. Exposed on both sides. Two bolted pitons help, can be used for belay. 20m rope is enough. Did you do some gymnastics on the hunter paths back there? There are quite a few cheers

Of course I did. But where do you go to the top? If you look at it from above, like I did. Probably left to the saddle...

At the end of the gully you see a path left that brings you to the saddle. The start is very crumbly, which you can avoid further right. cheers
