Interesting that the mentioned unnamed peak is not even drawn on the hribi.net map. Last year I visited it by chance, when I was looking at the panorama live and observing what I still had left in the Celje-Trojane area. As you wrote, a nicer ridge leads to it than the one marked to Žvajgo from Prebold. Also useful if doing a loop from Prebold to Reška planina on this side and back over Gradišče. lp

It also seems to me that the SE summit of Žvajga is somewhat higher than the one with the box and stamp. If I add to that the fact that the path along the eastern ridge is much nicer, less crowded and more attractive, it is known where I will go to this hill from now on.
The parking at the start is also very convenient.
Another new short tour for Sunday morning, when you need to be back on time.

At the start 0°C - light snowfall.
Higher up more windy. The strong wind carries fine snowflakes perpendicular to the ridge. On the steep ridge it's slippery and you need to watch your steps. Along the way I disinfect myself with good old cognac. I descend past the crucifix and down the steep gully. Nobody anywhere.

Well, I'm one of those who have less than half an hour to Žvajga. Now I'll look around.... where cognac grows haha, watch out, now you're leaving tracks

No logbook, as the box with the stamp is in repair. It will soon be installed back.
Beech trees have greened, no tick noticed yet...on me
Hiker frequency is moderate, they keep the prescribed distances. No infection up here!
Disinfectant is enough for cca. two hikes - depending on companions...

It seems strange to me too that it still exists
While often one hears: "last time I filled it and it spilled on me, I had to get another"!
perhaps no need to set up a "counter" so no spilling due to uneven ground

Nice sunny morning spent in Zasavje/Posavje hills. Sun is scorching, ticks looking for customers no matter which municipality you're from...
First visit the "hidden corner", stroll around Žvajga and eye Potoški hrib 734m asl. Climb it almost directly up NE slope. Those cca. 200m elevation were pretty steeeep!! Even climbed the last few meters of the summit
When looking at descent via V ridge, we chicken out. Look for more normal variant.
Already on meadows before Dušak, spot a four-legger walking unleashed in the yard. Return to forest and down the ridge. When we descend to Škarje treat ourselves to refreshment in red tin can and wash sweat in springs of clean cold water. Now cca. 30min asphalt walking.

route took 4:09:32 (buddy lagged 2min 31sec). VO2max maximal, optimal, didn't pick ramsons, trampled quite a few leaves unfortunately as they covered whole meadows. Vit D stocked for cca. 3 days. Maintained social distance between us, cuz didn't meet anyone, didn't avoid them either..

Sweetie, now again I don't know if VO2 was maximal or optimal. Was it over 40? That's the data I was most interested in.
Glad you two enjoyed.
My better half told me today that when I go to hills again, I'll probably head towards Murska Sobota, I'm already disoriented.

Regarding Potoški hrib, I believe you. Just how do the trees hold on in that steepness? The flat rock layers on the top or ridge are very interesting!!!
In the gully below, I found a couple of crayfish last year,
which are almost gone from our streams, sadly!!!!

Meh, my climbing legs - you to the top in two, me in four steps eastern ridge where I went up last year looks similarly steep from pics, useless for down, would massage knees wrong way... Wonder what rocks make up those layers, because not in such quantity around. Here you can even explore them a bit, as cico wrote. Seeing a stream crayfish, wow! that's sadly really rare nowadays:/
