GPS track is wrong! Just follow the markings avoiding the macadam forest road. Start at parking near (former) border crossing Lipica, walk approx. 300m on macadam forest road, follow marked left branch and continue past watchtower to road left earlier, cross it (direction signs!) and ascend excellently marked alpine trail to summit Jirmanec. Here path levels, continue Slovenian side (former) state border to junction macadam road and along it to hut on Kokoš. For return to start use alpine trail starting behind hut, descends through forest and shortly after junction to Lipica - Škibine (direction signs) joins macadam road. This section of alpine trail prohibited for all traffic, including cyclists! Continue on macadam to trail junction, right there past watchtower to start.
