Beltinci - Babič mill on Mur

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska motorway at the Lipovci exit, then follow the signs for Beltinci. When we arrive in Beltinci past the Mercator store, we turn right, then park on the parking lot between the store and Beltinški grad.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the nearby castle, where we notice the first blazes. We continue right on a macadam road that leads us along the northern side of the castle; at the nearby pond we go left. The path ahead leads us through a park, and on the right we notice the stadium of the football pitch of ND Beltinci. When we reach another macadam road we go right, at the next intersection, where we briefly step onto the asphalt, we go left onto the macadam road along which the blazes continue. The path ahead leads us towards the southwest, after some time it turns right and brings us to a poorly marked intersection. From the intersection we go left and continue towards the southwest again. At the transformer we reach an asphalt road, where the blazes direct us right (left Ižakovci). A few minutes further we cross the railway track, then we arrive in the settlement Dokležovje, where from the roundabout we continue left. Over the bridge we cross Kapusnjek, then Dokležovje ends. The path ahead leads us along the edge of the main road towards Veržej, and on the right we soon notice the Taškal pond, to which we descend along a cart track.
From the pond we return to the main road, then continue walking south. After less than 5 minutes of further walking the first path branches off to the left to the Dokležovje gravel pit, a few minutes further also the second. The gravel pit is located only a few dozen steps from the main road.
From the gravel pit we return to the nearby landmark, then along the main road we continue towards the Mura River. After crossing the Mura River we arrive in the Veržej municipality, and along or beside the main road we walk a few more minutes. Further on we go through the Mostiščarji inundation, after the Stara Mura inundation we go right onto the first macadam road. The path ahead leads through the forest, and when we arrive at the NK Veržej football pitch we go right. Only a short walk follows and we arrive at Babičev mill on the Mura River.
