From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice, take the Lesce exit and follow the road towards Bled and further towards Bohinjska Bistrica. In Bohinjska Bistrica, turn onto Ajdovska cesta and follow it past the church to the railway station, where we park.
Path description:
From the railway station, we walk along Ajdovska cesta and before the bridge over the stream Belca turn right down the slope and then, after a few metres, left, following the asphalt road which after 100 metres becomes macadam. With a view on Ajdovski gradec (580 m) we continue under the railway bridge (which leads over the river Sava Bohinjka) to the end of the macadam road, where there stands a house (officially this entire branch of the macadam road falls under Ajdovska cesta, which is therefore the longest street in Bohinjska Bistrica). Before the house we notice signs for waterfall Grmečica. We do not follow those signs and continue past the house through the meadow, keeping the slope on our right (and soon hunting observation post). The path soon starts to ascend and in the following minutes first steeply ascends, then slightly flattens and again briefly ascends until it reaches its highest point (grassy patch). Here to the left forest ascends to the village Nemški Rovt, to the right we notice the path to Ajdovski gradec, where we go. The path ascends transversely and then, when it turns left towards the summit, becomes gentler. Return possible along the direct marked path (in the direction of the view from the summit).
