Path description:
Path No. 34 (part of Alta Via Dolomiti) starts opposite the parking lot by the bridge, where signposts lead along the torrent gully briefly to the climbing area. There, behind the climbing wall, the path starts to rise, followed by a longer crossing of the slope. After crossing narrow gullies, the path starts to ascend in zigzags to the foot of the northern ridge of Strudelkopf. There follows a somewhat gentler crossing to a smaller notch. From it we descend briefly and then climb a ladder to an exposed secured ledge made during the First World War. Along it the path leads us around to the western side, followed by crossing the gully of the mountain stream, from which we first retreat into the forested slope below Helltaler Schlechnom, a little higher approaching it again. Beside it, plateau-like terrain with the Strudelkopfsattel saddle (2200 m) starts to open up, to which it is not far anymore. At the saddle a signpost directs us left onto a wide macadam road, which brings us to the summit in less than half an hour.
