Access to starting point:
On the Adriatic main road we drive from the Franjo Tuđman bridge towards Dubrovnik. 1 km after the bridge (still before the monument) we turn left. We drive on the road straight upwards to the church, where we park.
Route description:
At the parking lot, we begin past the gate by the fence of the church. After a few meters, we notice on the right the beginning of a marked path (marking on the stone).
At the beginning, the path is a little overgrown, but easy to follow.
Higher up, a nice view opens up on the town of Dubrovnik and nearby islands.
When the path flattens, we get to an indistinct junction, where a better beaten footpath otherwise leads straight, but the marking directs us to the left (unmarked path straight also brings us to the summit).
From the junction, we go slightly upwards towards the forest, which for a short time offers shade in hot sunny days.
When we come out of the forest, we continue on a gently sloping path, which brings us to a macadam road.
We continue right on the road (to the left leads the road to the monument of the fallen fighters and further to remains of the fort Strinčjere).
On the macadam road at the next junctions we continue straight in the direction of the transmitter.
Near the transmitter the macadam road joins the asphalt road. Still before the transmitter and the wall we go right and then up the stairs to the top of Srđa.
Again a nice view opens up on all sides.
