Eisenberg an der Raab - Janezov breg / János-hegy

Access to starting point:
Via the border crossing Kuzma we drive into Austria and continue driving towards the town Jennersdorf. From the roundabout before entering the highway we take the first exit in the direction of the settlement Sankt Martin an der Raab, in the middle of the mentioned settlement we go right, so that we continue on Oberdrosener Landesstraße. After 3.5 km of driving on the mentioned road we turn left onto the road Oberberg and start ascending. A bit higher we go right (left: the settlement Eisenberg) and then after approximately 50 m we park at the parking lot by the information boards.

Route description:
From the starting point we continue on the asphalt road, along which there are signs for the tripoint / Dreiländereck, after a minute of walking we reach the edge of the forest, we go slightly right onto the gravel road, along which we continue through the forest to the guard tower a few minutes away.
At the tower we go left and continue the path along the state border between Austria and Hungary, along the path we are accompanied by green Hungarian markings. A few minutes further the path completely crosses to the Hungarian side of the border and continues further through the forest, where another path from the settlement Gornji Senik joins from the right, namely the path marked with red markings.
We continue straight and at the abandoned house we reach a poorer road, which quickly takes us to a hamlet with a few houses, where we first go right, then at numerous direction signs left. We continue on a somewhat better gravel road, which after some time takes us to the next intersection, where we go left (here too right leads the path towards Gornji Senik).
This is followed by a gentle, short ascent to the cross, where we go right, then in a few dozen steps we reach the viewing tower on Janezov breg.
