Description of mountain:
Janezov breg / János-hegy is a scenic hill in Slovenian Porabje, rising directly above the largest Porabje village of Gornji Senik. The area lies near the tripoint of Slovenia, Hungary, and Austria, offering an authentic connection to the culture and history of the Slovenes living beyond the border.
When reaching the top of this pleasant hill, visitors see a wooden observation tower of lower wooden construction with covered levels. It was originally intended to provide a panoramic view of the picturesque Porabje landscape. Today, however, the view is quite limited, as nearby birches have grown tall over the years and now rise well above the tower, obscuring much of the former panorama.
