Gradišče na Kozjaku - Sveti Duh na Ostrem Vrhu

Access to starting point:
From the road Maribor - Dravograd, before the bridge over the stream Črmenica (the stream is located a little before the settlement Ožbalt, and from the direction Dravograd, a little after the settlement) we turn right (from the direction Dravograd after the bridge left) in the direction of settlements Gradišče and Kapla and lake Odomovo jezero. Further, we drive through the valley of the stream Črmenica, and at the beginning of the settlement Gradišče na Kozjaku a road branches off to the right towards Sveti Duh na Ostrem Vrhu. Here we continue straight, and at the next crossroad, we go right towards Austria. Further, we drive past individual houses, and when we get to the spot, where we notice red signposts for Sveti Duh na Ostrem Vrhu there is the beginning of the described path. At the starting point, there aren't any parking spots, so we park somewhere nearby on an appropriate place.

Path description:
At the mountain signpost we go sharply right on a side road in the direction of Sveti Duh na Ostrem Vrhu, which quickly brings us to the nearby house, behind which we continue on a marked cart track. For a short time, we walk through the forest and then we continue by the edge of a larger clearing, at the end of which we return into the forest. Next follows few smaller crossings, and we continue straight, on the cart track which continues along the stream. Higher, we leave the riverbed of the stream, because blazes point us to the right on a slope. Next follows a steeper ascent, and near the pasture, which is located left above the path follow few crossings, where we continue straight. When the cart track widens and it turns left, we go right on a narrower marked cart track which crosses the stream and is then for a shorter time descending. A light descent ends, when blazes point us to the left upwards, on the path which is ascending through the forest. Also further follows few more crossings, where we carefully follow the blazes. After some time, we leave the forest and by the edge of the pasture we ascend to a macadam road, on which we continue for a short time. After the right turn we go from the road left on a footpath which ascends diagonally through the forest, and after a short ascent, it brings us on an asphalt road which we follow to the left. On the asphalt we walk to the stairs, where we go right, and on the stairs past NOB monument and presbytery we ascend to the church of the Holy Spirit, which is situated on 904 meters high hill.
