Gradišče pri Vipavi - Sveti Miklavž above Vipava

Access to starting point:
From the Vipava motorway we turn onto the Vipava exit. After leaving the motorway we continue along the old road towards Vipava. Before reaching the town a marked road branches off to the right towards the village Gradišče pri Vipavi. We continue ascending through the village and follow the signs for Kamp Tura and Gradiška Tura. Once above the village we reach the mentioned camp and a larger parking area where we park.

Route description:
From the parking lot we take the path towards Gradiška Tura and Abram. The wide and gentle path quickly leads us to the first junction where we continue right towards Sveti Miklavž (slightly left Gradiška Tura). The trail leads south past numerous climbing areas and then becomes steeper several times. After half an hour of walking we leave the forest and already see the church of Sveti Miklavž ahead. Only a gentle climb to the church remains, which we reach in less than three minutes.
