Gradišče pri Vipavi - Sveti Miklavž above Vipava

Access to starting point:
From the Vipava motorway we turn onto the Vipava exit. After leaving the motorway we continue along the old road towards Vipava. Before reaching the town a marked road branches off to the right towards the village Gradišče pri Vipavi. We then ascend through the village and follow the signs for Kamp Tura and Gradiška Tura. Once above the village we reach the mentioned camp and a larger parking area where we park.

Route description:
From the parking area we follow the marked footpath towards Gradiška Tura, Abram and sv. Miklavž. After a short ascent the path turns right, levels out and leads us to a marked junction. At the junction we continue straight ahead (left to Gradiška Tura and Furlanovo zavetišče pri Abramu) and proceed in the direction of sv. Miklavž (signposted Sv. Miklav). We then ascend gently south to south-east, passing several turn-offs to nearby climbing areas. At all junctions we keep straight on and continue across the slopes of Gradiška Tura and later Podraška Tura. A short descent follows before we climb to the church of sv. Miklavž where a registration box with a visitors' book is located.
