Jesenovec - Kosmati vrh (Ratitovec)

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Železniki, where a signpost for the village Prtovč directs us onto a side road. After a few kilometers of driving, the road brings us to a crossroad, where we continue left in the direction of Ratitovec and the village Prtovč. Further, the road brings us to the church in the village, after which we come to a crossroad. We turn right in the direction of the hunting cottage. At the crossroad, where the hunting cottage is to the right, we continue on the left road. At the next crossroad, we continue on the lower right road and follow it to a smaller parking lot on the left side of the road. The parking lot is located 15 meters before the marked cart track towards Ratitovec.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road ahead and after a few steps we get to a signpost for Ratitovec to the left. We go on the path (cart track), which starts ascending and after 10 minutes of walking brings us to a junction.
We go to the left path in the direction of Ratitovec via Kosmati vrh (right mountain pasture Klom). The path ahead ascends mostly along the edge of a steeper slope moderately, in places steeply upwards. The path then brings us out of the forest onto the summit grazing slopes of Kosmati vrh. Further, the footpath is poorly visible, therefore we follow the blazes, but there are not many of them. The path then, with nice views after a good hour of walking, brings us to an unvegetated peak.
