Kočna - Poljanska baba

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we take the exit Lipce, where we turn left in the direction of "Blejska Dobrava and Spodnje Gorje". Soon, when we drive into the railway underpass, we are at the next crossroad, where we drive right - Bled, Kočna. Initially, the serpentine road ascends straight towards the west and soon in the left turn reaches the top or settlement Kočna. Our starting point is otherwise situated 100 meters before the settlement sign, but because of the continuous line we drive past the first houses, where on the right we notice a bus stop. Here we turn around and we return all the way to the turn or spot - a few meters before we would descend back into the valley. By the road on macadam surface we park.

Path description:
From the spot where we have parked, first we carefully cross the road and on the opposite side return 20 meters towards the valley. Here we notice a green sign with the caption "pohodniška pot 6", where in the direction that it indicates we continue into the forest. Here we turn right, where we soon encounter the first blaze, which points left uphill onto an indistinct ridge. Here the path ascends more steeply, after a few minutes it turns even more left towards the south and thereby flattens. For a short time the path gradually even descends, then turns right uphill and thereafter left over rocks. From here onwards it first leads us out of the forest for a short time, then back into a mostly deciduous forest, where it ascends moderately to steeply. After good 20 minutes of walking from the starting point, along the path we encounter a small sign with the caption "baba 5 min", where we turn right and in a few minutes arrive at the destination - near Poljanska baba. (Do not try to climb it.)
