We drive to Krnica from Nova Gorica through Solkan, Ravnica, Trnovo, where we turn right towards Rijavci and continue on a macadam road to the hunters' hut and picnic area.
Path description:
From Krnica we go straight on the road past two abandoned forestry huts to a saddle, where we turn left onto the forest road. From here on we stick to the forest road and at the junction we choose the left path (right path goes downhill). A little below the summit, the road ends, and we turn left on a footpath which in five minutes brings us to the summit. The path is also suitable for cyclists and in favourable winter conditions also for cross-country skiers.
