Mrzovec

Description of mountain:
Mržovec is the most prominent peak in the heart of the Trnovo Plateau. Its location offers wonderful views, though high trees obscure them from the summit. A stone tower (trigonometric point), just over five meters high, stands on top. Since it provides no broad panorama, similar views can be pieced together from the edges of the plateau summit where vegetation is partially absent in several spots. The entire Trnovski gozd lies plainly visible around us, especially the villages of Lokve and Nemci. On clear days, the view widens to the Adriatic Sea in the south, the Julian Alps in the north, Sabotin and Banjšice to the west, and Slovenia's interior to the east.
