Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Ljutomer, then we drive towards Ormož. When Ljutomer ends, first the road to Podgradje branches off to the left, and we turn left at the next crossroad towards the settlement Gresovščak (by the crossroad there are also signs for the Pomurska mountain trail). The path ahead leads us along a somewhat narrower asphalt road, alongside which we then park in a suitable place.
B) We drive to Ormož, then we follow the signs for Ljutomer. Further on, we drive along the railway tracks, and when we distance ourselves somewhat from them, we soon arrive at a crossroad, where the road towards the settlement Gresovščak branches off to the right (by the crossroad there are also signs for the Pomurska mountain trail). The path ahead leads us along a somewhat narrower asphalt road, alongside which we then park in a suitable place.
Path description:
On the road, we quickly arrive at the Ljutomer ponds, which the marked path bypasses on the right side, to which we can descend from the road in some 10 steps. From the road, which ascends gently to moderately through the forest, we soon go right, as the signs for the Pomurska mountain trail direct us to a forest footpath along which we ascend through the forest. We soon step out of the forest, where we arrive at a smaller hamlet, and we follow the macadam road to the right. When the road returns into the forest, the blazes direct us to the left, and we quickly arrive among the vineyards, through which the marked path continues. Above the vineyards we reach the macadam road, where we bypass the castle Železne Dveri on the left side, and on the other side of the castle we step onto the asphalt road. Along the road we then ascend lightly amid increasingly beautiful views of the surroundings. Železne Dveri soon ends, and we arrive at the village Plešivica, a little further in Jeruzalem. When we arrive at the settlement Jeruzalem, only a few minutes of panoramic walking separate us from the top of the hill on which stand the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, TIC Jeruzalem, Jeruzalem mansion.
Description and pictures refer to the condition in 2017 (August).
