Murova (Jesenice) - Ski lodge Črni vrh (via Pejce)

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice, take the Lipce exit, where we drive right towards Jesenice. In the settlement Slovenski Javornik, at the first intersection with traffic lights, turn left towards the town centre. At the seventh traffic-light intersection in a row, turn sharply right and drive only a few dozen metres, after which turn left uphill towards the church on Murova. Park nearby.

Route description:
From the church, continue left on the road that leads uphill among the houses. Soon we reach a junction, where we continue slightly right or straight uphill. The street (Kosova) narrows, and we follow it all the way to its end past the last house on the left. After the small garden, step onto a wide forest path that leads uphill towards NW. After only 15 minutes of walking from the starting point, we come upon a small chapel, and behind it a junction. Choose right (left Sp. Pejce) and continue on a slightly narrower path through the forest, and across the power line clearing to the next junction at the water intake, where we join a wider path coming from the left, i.e. from Spodnje Pejce. Continue right uphill on a nice, wide rocky path, along which ore was once transported, as evidenced by the still visible traces (glajzne). Along it, in a few minutes we reach another, larger chapel located right below Zgornje Pejce. By the chapel there are benches where we can take a rest.
The path turns right after a few metres and takes us along the fence on the left to Zgornje Pejce. Here, straight ahead, cross a grassy area surrounded by a garden and orchard, and step onto the forest road. Continue right, but only a few metres, to the bend or branch-off of the forest track on the left, onto which we turn. Quite soon, when the track splits, choose right and continue uphill through the forest along the winding track. Here we encounter old blazes. A clearing follows, at the top of which we get a partial view of Mežakla with Kisovec and Jerebikovec, and the Julian Alps. Immediately after, at the junction, choose the left path or straight (right above the red quarry). Continue uphill along the old track on the right. When the forest thins somewhat, cross the track, turn left, and soon reach the forest road Prihodi - Križovec. Turn right, where we soon encounter Skavarjev rovt. The road turns left and immediately after right. Here, at the right bend, we come upon a cart track branch-off, which we overlook, a stream and a small parking lot. Behind the latter, look for a path that turns right in the forest and ascends. After a short time, it turns left and runs close to the forest road, eventually joining it. Just a few dozen metres after stepping back onto the road, on the left side of the right bend, notice a small path ascending into the forest. It joins a slightly wider path after a few metres, along which we walk only a few metres more. When we notice carved on a tree: "Č.V." (Črni Vrh), turn left off the path onto an initially hard-to-spot track, which later becomes an easily followable marked path that brings us to the forest ridge. Along it, we now ascend for some time towards SE. When we emerge from the forest, notice a weekend cottage, which we bypass on the left and then return right to the forest ridge (edge). The path soon takes us out of the forest, where along the edge of the meadow we ascend another few dozen metres past the linden tree onto an open meadow. In the distance, notice a house standing near the ski hut Črni vrh. Look for a cart track across the meadow that takes us past the mentioned house on the right near the chairlift. Here turn right, and after a few minutes' walk arrive at the ski hut Črni vrh, located 50 m right of the chairlift Španov vrh track.
